Event FAQ's
Is The Fortunate Feast a free event? Yes, The Fortunate Feast is entirely free. Guests can attend our Holiday Gathering, receive distributed items, and enjoy one meal per person at no cost.
Do I need to be present to receive items or a meal? Yes, all individuals, including children, must be present to receive gifts, meals, and other items at The Fortunate Feast. No exceptions will be made.
What time should I arrive to The Fortunate Feast? The event begins at 9:00 AM, but lines tend to form early. We recommend arriving at least two hours in advance to secure your spot.
Will there be assistance available to help me carry items to my car? Unfortunately, volunteers will be busy with event tasks and cannot assist with loading items into cars. Please plan accordingly.
5. Where should I park? Guests can park at the Oak Park Community Center lot or use nearby street parking.
Do I need to bring anything to The Fortunate Feast? You don’t need to bring anything, but we highly recommend bringing a wagon or cart to help carry the items you’ll receive during the event.
